Jessica Gaffney named Women@Austin CEO

Startup founder Jessica Gaffney has been selected as the new CEO & Executive Director of Women@Austin. Jessica will steer the organization's mission to advance and empower women entrepreneurs and oversee programming for the 1,000+ members.

“I’m thrilled to have Jessica in this new position of leadership to help guide us in scaling impact for not just women entrepreneurs, but also their funders and supporters in Austin” said Jan Ryan, Women@Austin Founder and Tech Entrepreneur. “Equality is a team sport, and transformation does not happen in a vacuum. As a respected leader and well-loved member of this community, Jessica is the perfect choice to lead Women@Austin in helping realize our vision of having Austin be the #1 city in the nation for women to launch a business."

Jessica’s most recent journey as an entrepreneur was co-founding and serving as the CEO of Pro Mama, a community and resource for moms to help them find flexible work. Jessica has over 15 years of experience in development and marketing in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, and previously served as Development Director for Sustainable Food Center, helping people access fresh food in Central Texas. Jessica will be working out of the Notley offices alongside the Notley team and Director of Strategic Programs, Savannah L. Barker.
